Qantas Flight Schedules Change due to ALAEA

The Australian carrier Qantas Airways announces its flight schedules disruption because of action taking place by Australian Licensed Aircraft Engineers Association (ALAEA), effective from 03th October, 2011. Passengers having a confirmed ticket with Qantas on departures commencing on or before 04th October, 2011 such as cancelled and re timed flights resuming from ALAEA industrial action are requested to consult their travel agents and visit qantas.com for latest information.

Passengers have option to rebook alternative Qantas flights including the code sharing flights operated by British Airways without paying any fee. Rerouting of flights with Qantas Airways on outbound and inbound flights via different routes is also permissible. Passengers can also change destinations by the value of current ticket which can be accommodated for the acquisition of new ticket however if the new airfare is expensive than the previous fare than passengers can pay the fare difference and avail the new option (taxes may apply). Qantas Airways also give its beloved passengers an option to keep the value of current ticket in credit for the upcoming travel within 1 year form the original ticketed date of departure.
